Master Sanna told the Xin Min Daily News that although many people were concerned about offending the Tai Sui and/or having clashes with the Tai Sui, very few knew that Tai Sui could be utilized to bring fortune to the occupants of a Yang dwelling.
There is a verse from a Feng Shui Classic that mentioned about the power of Tai Sui, “The annual Tai Sui can bring about fortune or calamities; it all depends on the I-Ching Gua.” According to Master Sanna, the secret to this verse lies within the Heavenly Jade Classic.
The verses in the script point to Tai Sui as the huge factor influencing auspiciousness, inauspiciousness, fortune, and calamities in Yin and Yang Feng Shui. He mentions that by assessing where Tai Sui sits in a Yang dwelling according to its sitting and facing, a Feng Shui practitioner will be able to tell about the influence of Tai Sui.
Master Sanna shared a case study as an example on the power of Tai Sui. In 2006, Master Sanna was invited to do a Feng Shui audit for a single-storey terrace house in Johor Baru. Upon the inspection of the house exterior, the paint job on the external walls was peeling; hence the aura of the house was gloomy and lacking of brightness. Master Sanna immediately warned the occupants that unless they were prepared to do major renovations to the house, they should move out of the dwelling quickly.
Master Sanna then made an assessment of the house using the Tai Sui and facing and sitting of the house, “The house has very weak auspicious energy, especially in the master bedroom, thus it affects the health of its occupants.” The owner then affirms Master Sanna assessment that his wife and children have always been falling sick frequently.
The owner, who is a building contractor, adopted Master Sanna’s suggestion of relocation and moved out of the house shortly after the audit.
A few months later, the empty house was struck not only once, but twice, by lightning. The damage done by the lightning strike was so great that even the auto-gate and circuit breaker were fried. It was lucky that the house was already empty when the lightning struck twice, and nobody was hurt when the incident happened.
Master Sanna said that he did a Feng Shui audit for the new house belonging to the same contractor in 2008. He told the contractor that the new house’s sitting and facing was in the fortune position of the Tai Sui for 2008. True enough, the contractor clinched many contracts in 2008 and made quite a hefty sum. In addition, his wife and children were in the pink of health.
At the start of 2009, Master Sanna went up to Johor Baru again and did another annual Feng Shui audit for the contractor. He told the contractor that the Tai Sui will bring fortune again, and the latter replied that even though the current economy looked gloomy, his business schedule for 2009 was already fully booked.
